Friday, my son, Greg Snier, and his fiancee, Victoria Bracher, celebrated their upcoming Saturday wedding with a rehearsal of sorts at HP Lanes, enjoyed by some 16 people.
No, it was not this father’s idea to go this route for a wedding celebration, but a good time was had by all, thanks to HP Lanes and its staff for their attention to detail.
Of course, Greg showed he had not lost his bowling ability by shooting 247 in Game 2 with an eight-year-old bowling ball.
This writer had no such luck, using everything in my arsenal, missing plenty of easy spares and just enjoying the evening with friends and future family while enjoying some liquid refreshment along the way. Of course, we picked up the tab.
The actual wedding is set for Saturday at the Columbus Park of Roses, and we are expecting a beautiful celebration with a fine setting and great people.
