JOHN MARKUS: Markus, a 43-year-old Canal Fulton right-hander, had his third career 300 in a mixed league at Park Centre. He finished with a 716 series and has a career high of 767. “I’ll remember bowling it with my daughter, who was subbing that night,” said Markus, who used a Roto Grip Hustle P/O/W for his milestone.
DYLAN SHANKLE: Shankle, an 18-year-old two-handed right-hander, had his third career 300 game, but first USBC sanctioned, during the Hannan Electric league at Park Centre. Shankle hit 300 in Game 3 of his 721 series. Shankle used a Motiv Jackal Mythic for his milestone. “I’ll remember the last shot when the 4-pin barely fell,” Shankle said.
