NORTH CANTON — The College Bowl Tournament series continues Saturday with a singles event at Park Centre Lanes.
The event is set for 10 a.m. with a $65 entry fee. Bowlers will roll four qualifying games before the field is cut to the top eight for single-game elimination rounds by seed until two remain to bowl for the title.

NAGLE RETURNS
The annual Ted Nagle Memorial Tournament is set for 10 a.m. Dec. 15 at Christoper Columbus Lanes in Alliance.
Entry fee is $65, with bowlers rolling six qualifying games before cutting to the top five for the stepladder finals. The top 15 bowlers will cash, based on 48 entries.

PBA REGIONALS
Urbana left-hander Graham Fan captured his 15th career regional title in topping the field at the PBA Championship Lanes Central/Midwest Open in Anderson, Ind., on Sunday.
Fach defeated Michael Schlabach 256-236 in the title match to secure the title. Schlabach was the No. 1 qualifier, averaging 225.50 for eight games on the PBA Carter 39 oil pattern. Fach was the No. 3 seed (215.75).
Fach stopped Patrick Dombrowski 222-184 and Schlabach topped Ben Sobel 252-221 during the semifinals. See results below.
EASTERN REGIONAL: Former North Canton resident Tim Elsass captured his first PBA regional title in topping the field at the PB A50 Wolfe’s Den Duper Senior Open at Timber Wolfe Lanes in Oxford, Pa., recently. Elsass averaged 225.53 for 19 games and compiled a 7-4 matchplay mark to earn the win. He defeated Glenn Smith in a best of three match, taking Game 3 254-214, to claim the title in the 35-player field. See results below:

HIT DEM POCKETS: HDP returns Nov. 10 with a Handicap Doubles Sweeper at 5 p.m. at North Woods Lanes in Macedonia. Teams will bowl five games, with payouts being on a 1-in-5 basis. Entry fee is $60 per person or $120 per team. The high team from each game will bowl one more game for a winner-take-all bonus pot. OHIO MATCHPLAY TOURNAMENTS: The next OMT event is the fourth anniversary/Veterans’ Day event, set for 1 p.m. Nov. 9 at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl in Columbus. Entry fee is $110, with bowlers rolling five qualifying games. It will be rolled on a modified house oil pattern, with $1,200 guaranteed for first and $600 for second, based on 48 entries, courtesy of Tom Carter. OHIO STATE USBC: Tournament sites have been established for the 2025 Ohio State USBC Open, Women’s and Youth tournaments. The Ohio State USBC Open tournament will be weekends from Feb. 15 through May 4 in Summit County. The team event will be at AMF Riviera Lanes while the doubles and singles will be at Station 300 (formerly Stonehedge). The women’s championships will be weekends from March 22 through April 13 in Stark County, with the team event at Eastbury Bowling Center and singles and doubles at AMF Hall of Fame Lanes.
