MACEDONIA — The Hit Dem Pockets Queens tournament, originally set for June 21 at North Woods Lanes, has been canceled.
According to Facebook post from tournament officials, the event was cancelled “due to several people backing out and additional pre-registrations not coming in.”
“We will look to possibly reschedule in the coming months but, currently its not advantageous to have ladies travel several hours for a limited field. If you have already paid in advance, you will receive a full refund within 24 hours,” according to the Facebook post.
The next major HDP event will be the Christmas in July tournament, set for July 5-6 and 12-13 at North Woods Lanes.
Entry fee is $35 for singles and $70 for teams, with events for scratch, women and seniors in singles and doubles. This is a handicapped event.
