H.S. bowling: Here is a look at where area teams will be during the postseason

Want to know where your favorite team is for postseason play this year?

Here are the rundowns for the 2021-22 area high school bowling sectional and district tournaments.

The Division II state tournament is set for 10:30 a.m. March 4 (boys) and March 5 (girls) at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl in Columbus.

The Division I state tournament is set for 10:30 a.m. March 11 (boys) and March 12 (girls) also at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl.

Spectator admissions will be handled by Hometown ticketing. No tickets will be sold at the door. On-line sales at www.ohsaa.org/tickets. Prices are $8 presale and $10 same day. Doors open at 9 a.m. Spectator tickets may be limited.

NORTHEAST DISTRICT

TRI-COUNTY SECTIONAL

WHAT: Division II sectional: boys, Feb. 11; girls, Feb. 14

WHEN: 10 a.m. both days

WHERE: Stonehedge Family Fun Center, Akron

BOYS TEAMS: Central Catholic, Canton South, Crestwood, CVCA, East Canton, Garetsville Garfield, Lake Center Christian, Rootstown, Tuslaw (individual only), United Local, Woodridge

GIRLS TEAMS: Central Catholic, Canton South, Crestwood, East Canton, Garrettsville Garfield, Lake Center Christian, Marlington, Our Lady of Elms, Ravenna, Rootstown, Southeast, Springfield, United Local, Woodridge

FORMAT: Three regular games followed by six Baker System games. There will be no interaction between teams. Lane assignments will be drawn at sectional site upon entry.

WHO ADVANCES: Top three boys teams and three individuals not on advancing teams and top four girls teams and top four individuals not on advancing teams qualify for district play.

DISTRICT: Boys, 10 a.m. Feb. 25 at Holiday Bowl, Struthers; girls, 10 a.m., Feb. 26 at Holiday Bowl, Struthers. Top four in each division along with top four individuals not on advancing teams will advance to state.

SUMMIT SECTIONAL
