FORT MYERS, Fla. — Tom Adcock finished with a 246.63 average of 19 games to lead 24 competitors into match play during the PBA50 Lighning Strikes Lanes Open on Thursday at Lightning Strikes Bowl.
Adcock, who led after 14 qualifying games, topped the five-game Advancer Round with 4,686 total infall, 102 pins ahead of Brad Angelo. First-round leader Tom Hess sits sixth with 4,515.
The single elimination rounds have begun, with Warren Eales rolling the tournament’s fourth 300 game during his opening-match victory over Jeff Johnson.
Bowlers will continue single-elimination match play which will culminate with the stepladder finals at 7 p.m. tonight. It will air live on BowlTV.
