THIS WEEK’S 300 GAMES
SCOTTY SHIELDS: Shields a 34-year-old Minerva right-hander, had his 20th career 300 game in the Friday Night Eagles league at Minerva Bowl. Shields, using a Hammer Black Widow Ghost, shot 300 in Game 3 of his 740 series. He owns nine career 800 series with a career-high of 838. “I’ll remember kicking Chad Bell’s ass,” Shields said.
RYAN TROWBRIDGE: Trowbridge, a 30-year-old Green right-hander, had his eighth career 300 game in the Liberty Vending league at Eastbury Bowling Center. Trowbridge, using an Ebonite Vortex V2, had 300 in Game 3 of his 760 series. He has four career 800 series, with a high of 825. “I’ll remember slapping out the 9-pin ion the first shot in the 10th frame,” Trowbridge said.
ALEX McCOURRY: McCourry, a 27-year-old Canton left-hander, had his 46th career 300 game in the Liberty Vending league at Eastbury Bowling Center. McCourry, who used a Stork IQ Tour Nano Pearl, hit 300 in Game 2 of his 740 series. He has 19 career 800 series with a high of 848. “I’ll remember J.D. (Jones), Branden (Ball) and Scott (Vandegrift) making fun of me while videoing the game,” McCourry said.
