THIS WEEK’S 300 GAMES

DAN BLOCK: Block, a 53-year-old Jackson Township left-hander, rolled a 300 en route to a 824 series in the Pizza Oven Classic league at Park Centre Lanes. The Jackson Township firefighter and paramedic had 300 in Game 1, adding games of 244 and 280 while using a Storm Sure Lock.

JESSE GONZALES: Gonzales, a 32-year-old two-handed right-hander, had his first career 300 game in the Spectrum Orthopaedics league at Park Centre Lanes. Using a Hammer Purple Reactive, Gonzales hit 300 in Game 1 of his 744 series. He has a high career series of 756. “I’ll just remember the end of the game,” Gonzales said.

TYLER BUGARA: Bugara, a 30-year-old right-hander, had his first career 300 game in the Spectrum Orthopaedics league at Park Centre Lanes. Using a Roto Grip Idol Pearl, Bugara shot 300 in Game 2 of his 748 series. He has a high career series of 752. “I’ll just remember how cal I felt for the 12th ball after a 16-hour drive,” Bugara said.

PAUL THORNE: The 40-year-old Thorne had his 18th career 300 in the Pizza Oven Classic league at Park Centre Lanes. Using an Ebonite Game Breaker 2, Thorne hit 300 in Game 1 of his 721 series. He owns a pair of 800 series with a high of 826. “The team won the game, and that’s all that really matters,” Thorne said.
