COLUMBUS — After shooting 888 during Game 1, the left-handed trio of Graham Fach, Kyle Mayberry and Matt Sanders rolled to the title during the Rob Evans Two-Shot Memorial Trio Marathon on Saturday at HP Lanes.
The trio, who led with 3,140 after the opening four games of the trio event that featured two separate house shots, shot 2,922 as a team during the second shift to earn a 145-pin victory over the trio of Michael Haggitt, Jalen Mosley and Kyle Cook.
The event drew 44 teams, with the team of Dan Higgins, Adam Barta and Chad Roberts earning the eighth and final cash spot with 5,652.
Promotor Jody Boyd’s next major event will be the Metal Conversions $7,000 Lex Lanes Baker Five-Man event at 9 a.m. Jan. 14 at Lex Lanes in Lexington.
Entry fee is $750 per five-man team, with bowlers rolling 29 Baker System games against each team in the field before closing with a position round. Bonus pins are awarded for wins.
Qualifying will be followed by a five-team stepladder finals, with first place paying $7,000, based on a 30-team field.

HALL TO BE OPEN ON SATURDAYS
CANTON — The Canton Amateur Sports Hall of Fame, located at 1414 Market Avenue N, will be open for visitors on Saturdays in January and February.
The Hall, which is home to nine amateur halls of fame including bowling, will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays beginning Jan. 14.
