THIS WEEK’S 300 GAMES
JEFF PEARSON: Pearson, a 61-year-old Paris right-hander, had his fifth career 300 in the Tycor Roofing league at Eastbury Bowling Center. Pearson, who used a Track Kinetic, hit 300 in Game 3 of his 783 series, also his career high, after shooting 279 in Game 2. “I’ll remember that last ball,” Pearson said. This also was Pearson’s second 300 in just three weeks, giving him five overall.
DAWN DAVIS: Davis, a 43-year-old Plain Township right-hander, had her first career 300 in the Monday Mixed league at Eastbury Bowling Center. Davis hit 300 in Game 3 of her 725 series. He has a high career series of 834 and used The Global 900 Zen for his first two games and the Roto Grip Hustle in Game 3. “After I made the ball change in the ninth frame of Game 2, I threw the last 16 strikes in a row,” Dorosky said.
J.D. JONES: Jones, a 28-year-old Massillon right-hander, had his 18th career 300 in the Tyrcor Roofing league at Eastbury. He had 300 in Game 2 of his 741 series. He set the Eastbury three-game series record of 875 last season and used the 900 Global Reality for his latest 800. “I’ll remember throwing the 12th ball and getting to yell “take that Joe Altimore” after striking next to a split,” Jones said.
