CANTON — Green High School senior Marissa Perrine continued her assault on the Bulldogs’ record book Tuesday by setting a school record for two-game series.
In a Stark County High School Bowling Conference match against Louisville at Eastbury Bowling Center, Perrine had games of 247 and 290 for a 537 series. The series total broke the school record for both boys and girls.
Her second game included 11 strikes in a row to finish.
Perrine is averaging 210 on the season through four weeks, leading the Bulldogs to an unbeaten mark in the Federal Division and coming off a victory in the Park Centre Holiday Tournament at Park Centre Lanes.
The Bulldogs won the match 2,417-1,666.
ROCKETS EARN BIG WIN: Conotton Valley’ girls handed defending Division II state champion Triway its first loss of the season Tuesday, 2,515-2,482, at the Rocket Center. Conotton Valley was led by freshman Delilah Williams, who posted the high series score of 416 with games of 190 and 226. Reigning Division II state individual champion Emma Yoder of Triway rolled games of 183 and 211 for a 394 series.
