JEFF MOWLS: Mowls, a 56-year-old Plain Township left-hander, recorded his 41st career 300 game in the Spectrum Orthopaedics league at Park Centre Lanes. Mowls had 300 in Game 3 of his 766 series. He also has 19 career 800 series with a high of 868. He used the 900 Global Zen for his milestone. “I’ll remember Dan Block wanting me to leave a 6-count on the final ball,” Mowls said.
