SOB Honor Roll for Feb. 16

THIS WEEK’S 300 GAMES

BOB SMER: Smer, a 59-year-old Jackson Township right-hander, had his 17th career 300 in the Pizza Oven Classic league at Park Centre Lanes. Smer, using a Storm Hy-Road Pearl, hit 300 in Game 3 of his 636 series. “I’m going to remember making it through three games. My knee was killing me all night and I just tried to suck it up and bowl through it,” Smer said.

KEVIN SCHOTT: Schott, a 24-year-old Alliance right-hander, had back-to-back 300s in the John Klonowski Memorial and the Tycor Roofing league, both at Eastbury Bowling Center. Schott used a Storm IQ Emerald for his league 300, the 15th of his career, during a 784 series. He has a pair of 800 series this season and a career-high of 837.

BRIAN FRENZ: Frenz, a 50-year-old Plain Township right-hander, had his eighth career 300 in the Hannon Electric league at Park Centre. Using a Storm Tropical Surge, he hit 300 in Game 2 of his series. He has a career high of 803. “I threw nine solid balls and three weeks one in the 10th for the 300,” Frenz said.

JERRY WALDREN: Waldren, a 62-year-old Louisville right-hander, had 300 in Game 2 of his 751 series in the Hannon Electric league at Park Centre. He used a Brunswick Melee Jab and owns a pair of 800 series, with a high of 813.

JEFF DIMARZIO: DiMarzio, a 69-year-old Canton right-hander, had his 73rd career 300 in the Tycor Roofing league at Eastbury Bowling Center. DiMarzio hit 300 in Game 1 of his 731 series using a 900 Global Wolverine. He owns 17 career 800 series with a high of 856. “The 10th frame shots were pretty good,” DiMarzio said.
