CUYAHOGA FALLS — The Ten Back Pro Shop team of Cooper Smith, Frank Testa, Tyler Meredith and Dean Billings captured the actual team title during the Summit County USBC Open Championships, which concluded play recently at Clutch Lanes and Sports Center.
The foursome finished with 2,937 total pinfall, with 3 Pros and 1 House finishing second with 2,845.
The Funky Bunch team of Matt Knight, Stephen Mallory, Mark Harper and Russ Bowlers topped the handicap team division with 3,078, with Ahhhhhh Andy finishing second with 3,060.
Both teams won $900.
In doubles, the team of Rachael Ritzinger and Mark Harper topped the scratch division with 1,460, with Rick McGalliard and Jaw Fazek taking second (1,443). Michael Lancia and Andrew Monroe topped the handicap division with 1,618, followed by Heather Wolfe and Robby Roberts (1,579).
In singles, Brian Walker shot 825 to top the scratch division, followed by Russell bowers with 784 and William Crawford Jr. with 780. Andrew Monroe was No. 1 in handicap single with 864, followed by Terry Ware (844) and Gervais Balwin (832).
All-events champions were Tyler Meredith in the scratch division (2,249) and Monroe in the handicap division (2,461).
