AKRON — The next Mac’s Cabana Spins Bowl Akron doubles sweeper is at 3 p.m. June 19 at Spins Bowl Akron.
The scratch event features a four-game qualifier on a house oil pattern, with the field then being cut to the top four teams for stepladder finals. Entry fee is $100 per team, with brackets, eliminator and jackpots available.

HALL OF FAME SUMMER SERIES
CANTON — The third event of the Hall of Fame Summer Series is set for 6:15 p.m. June 23 at AMF Hall of Fame Series.
Entry fee is $40 for the scratch singles event, which will be bowled on the 2019 U.S. Open oil pattern. A practice session is available June 21 by contacting the center.
Bowlers bowl four qualifying games before the field is cut to the top five for the stepladder finals. First place will pay $250, based on 25 entries.

OHIO STATE USBC BUCKEYE ALL EVENTS
COLUMBUS — Dayton’s Lindsey Furnas, Hamilton’s Kristen Biller, Washington Court House’s Andrew Amore and Fairview Park’s Kay Bailey captured titles during the Ohio State USBC Buckeye All-Events tourney at HP Lanes recently.
The tournament was open to all-events champions from any Ohio State USBC affiliated local associations.
Furnas captured the women’s actual title with 956; Biller topped the women’s handicap division with 1,107; Amore won the open actual title with 1,086; and Bailey won the open handicap division with 1,093.
Among area players, Louisville’s Kara Thomas was third in all-events actual with 851; Canton’s Lindsay Johnson was fifth in women’s handicap with 962; and Mogadore’s Bryan Hunsche was third in open handicap with 994.

OHIO STATE USBC WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIPS
COLUMBUS — Austintown’s Teri Haefke topped the scratch all-events division as official results were announced for the 2022 Ohio State USBC Women’s Championships, held at Columbus Square Bowling Palace and HP Lanes.
Haefke finished with 2,153 total pinfall, 14 pins ahead of Oregon’s Jodi Woessner.
Among area players, Massillon’s Mandi Testa was sixth with 2,047, Melissa Brenders was seventh with 2,043, former Canton resident Jennifer Higgins was eight with 2,042 and Charmaine Allen was tied for 10th with 2,034.
Testa and Massillon’s Taylor Sturm finished third in doubles actual with 1,406, while Allen and Brenders were fifth with 1,364.
Ten Back Pro Shop also was second in four-person team actual with 2,617.
In the handicap division, Hume Farms of Carrollton was second with 2,782 in four-person team, with Massillon’s Ten Back Pro Shop ninth with 2,716; Wooster’s Selina Powers-Good and Brat Arman were eighth in doubles with 1,485; Akron’s Charlotte Miller was second in singles with 835; and Malvern’s Tanya Diglaw was tied for sixth in all events with 2,253.
