THIS WEEK’S 300 GAMES
JACK REED: Reed, a 67-year-old Canton right-hander, had his 22nd career 300 in the Eastbury Wednesday Night league at Eastbury Bowling Center. Reed had 300 in Game 3 of his 769 series. He has 10 career 800 series with a high of 837 and used the Brunswick Hybrid for his milestone. “I was the last bowler that night, subbing for my old team,” Reed said.
DAVID HECKMAN: Heckman, a 26-year-old right-hander, had his first career 300 in the Tycor Roofing league at Eastbury Bowling Center. He hit 300 in Game 1 of his 699 series, using a Roto Grip Idol Helios.
ROBERT HUDAS: Hudas, a 36-year-old right-hander, had his fifth career 300 in the J.P. Williams Mixed league at Eastbury Bowling Center. He had 300 in Game 3 of his 766 series. He has two career 800 series with a high of 802 and used a 900 Global Reality for his milestone. “When I shot my first 300, I was subbing in a men’s league at Park Centre back in 2009,” Hudas said. “It was in Game 2, and every time I threw a strike, I would go sit in the bar and watch the Cavs game. I did that all the way until the 10th frame after each shot. I was nervous, but found a way to control it until the last ball.”
