DAVID HECKMAN: The Canton right-hander had his second career 300, and second this season, in the Tycor Roofing league at Eastbury Bowling Center. He had 300 in Game 2 of his 691 series using the Idol Helios.
MIKE SPITALE JR.: The 61-year-old North Canton right-hander had his 46th career 300 in the Hannon Electric league at Park Centre Lanes. He hit 300 in Game 2 after starting the night with a 158 game. He used the Columbia Top Speed for his latest milestone. “I made the ball change in the second frame of Game 1 and changed before the 10th frame. I had three 7-10 splits in Game 1, but struck out in the 10th and had the next 12. I then had the next four in Game 3, but finished the night with a 7-10 split in the 10th,” Spitale said.
JERRY WALDREN: The 63-year-old Louisville right-hander had his ninth career 300 in the Foxfire Lounge Mixed league at Park Centre Lanes. Waldren, using a Brunswick Melee Jab, hit 300 in Game 3 of his 780 series. He had a high career series of 812. “The most memorable part is that my wife got to see it,” said Waldren.
