300 GAMES
JUSTIN McILVAIN: The 31-year-old right-hander had his 33rd career 300 in the Northeast Ohio Travel League at Wabash Lanes. He had 300 during Game 3 of his 787 series. He owns 13 career 800 series with a high of 874. The sale representative for Kuriyama of America used a Storm IQ Ruby for his milestone. “I had a pretty good look all night,” McIlvain said. “The first 10 of the 300 game were all good shots. But on the 11th, I stuck bad on the approach and pulled the shot way inside. Luckily, I stuck enough to not put any hand in the ball and it flushed the pocket.”
ANDREW LAKE: Salem’s Lake had his first career 300 game in the mixed league at Minerva Bowl. The 46-year-old hit 300 in Game 1 of his 778 series. He had three career 800 series with a high of 823. He used the Motive Jackel Ghost for his milestone.
BRIAN M. KELLY: Alliance’s Kelley had his 22nd career 300 in the Friday Nite Eagles league at Minerva Bowl. The 57-year-old had 300 in game 2 of his 669 series. He owns 11 career 800 series with a high of 831. He used a Brunswick Rhino for his latest milestone. “I struggled with the finish in Game 1, but it just came to me in Game 2,” Kelly said. “Then, it really went away in Game 3.”
