H.S. bowling: Conference seeks hall of fame nominations; matches from Feb. 5; SCHSBC standings, statistics

The Stark County High School Bowling Conference is accepting nominations for its 2024 Hall of Fame Class.

The purpose of the Hall is to recognize SCHSBC athletes, coaches, administrators and supporters who “excelled in bowling,, coaching-support roles and who helped to bing honor, recognition, distinction and excellence” to the conference “by their conduct both on and off the lanes of competition.”

Athletes are eligible for nomination 10 years following their class’ graduation and must have been on the first-team all-conference at least one year and have participated for three years.

Coaches and administrators are eligible five years after they left the SCHSBC for any reason or in special circumstances as determined by board members. Contributers are considered for nomination based on their service and dedication to the conference.

Deadline for submitting nominations is Feb. 29.
