KENNY LAMBERT: The 53-year-old Minerva aright-hander had his 10th career 300 game in the Consumer’s National Bank Classic league at Minerva :Bowl. Lambert hit 300 in Game 3 of his 772 series. He owns three 800 series with a high of 813. He used a Motiv Forge for his lates milestone. “I’ll just remember bowing with my nephew Ryan and beating him,” Lambert said.
JEFF MOWLS: Mowls, a 57-year-old Plain Township left-hander, had his 43rd career 300 in the Honeymoon Grill league at Park Centre Lanes. Mowls had 300 in Game 2 of his 708 series. He owns 21 career 800 series, with a high of 868. He used a Storm Absolute Power for his latest milestone. “I remember telling Frank (Testa) from Ten Back Pro Shop that the ball is not that good. Two games in and I didn’t have a 200 game,” Mowls said.
ARCHIE ZANTOPULOS: Zantopulos, a 63-year-old retired Plain Township right-hander, had his second career 300 game in the Mixed Orthodox league at Park Centre Lanes. Zantopulos had 300 in Game 1 of his 705 series using a Columbia 300 Action Packed. “I had a crazy strike in the eighth frame,” Zantopulos said.
