LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The final 33 have begun play during the cashers’ round of the $6,000 MEGA in the Ville Event on Sunday at Executive Strike and Spare.
The singles event drew a 162-player field over two eight-oane qualifying rounds on Saturday, with the top 33 advancing to Sunday’s final round. The cut number was at 1,878, with Chris Corbin earning the final spot.
All pins carry over to the six-game cashers’ round, with the top five then bowling a traditional stepladder finals. Jean Perez was the qualifying leader with 2,019 (a 252.3 average), followed by Bill Hubbard (2,018) and Adam Barta (2.009).
