CENTERVILLE — The Junior Tournament Bowlers Association completed its first half of its tournament schedule with the JTBA Dayton Youth Open last weekend at Poelking Lanes South.
Bowlers rolled five qualifying games before the divisions were broken own for two-game match-play to determine winners.
Lake High School senior rolled a 300 game during qualifying of the event, which included 66 total entries.
Division winners included Tucker Ludwig (18U boys), Jillian Justinger (18U girls), Christopher Hoyle (15U boys), and Brooklyn Barnett (15U girls).
The JTBA now takes the next six months off until resuming following the OHSAA high school bowling season on March 9 with the JTBA Welcome Back Tournament on March 9.

ADULT-YOUTH: The BCAO and the Ohio State USBC are into the second Weeknd of the adult-youth tournament at Dragon Lanes in Marysville. Squads are set for 9 a.m. and noon Oct. 12 and 13. Divisions are adult-youth (youth bowler ages 12 and younger) and adult-teen (ages 13 and older). Entry fee is $60 per team. Walk-ins are being accepted. STARK USBC TOURNAMENT: The Stark County USBC is holding a Halloween Youth Doubles event at noon Oct. 26 at Park Centre Lanes. Entry fee is $60 per team, with competition in three divisions for both girls and boys beginning with 12U. Teams can be any combination of same sex or mixed, with bowlers rolling three games.
