CANTON — The College Bowl Tournaments series will hold a regular doubles event at 10 a.m. Saturday at Eastbury Bowling Center.
Entry fee is $130 per team, with each team bowling four qualifying games before the field is cut to the top four for single-game match-play elimination rounds.
First place will pay $940, based on 24 teams.

ALLIANCE TOURNEY NEARS FULL FIELD
The annual Ted Nagle Memorial Tournament is set for 10 a.m. Dec. 15 at Christoper Columbus Lanes in Alliance.
There were five spots remaining as of Wednesday, with the entry fee at $65. Bowlers will roll six qualifying games before cutting to the top five for the stepladder finals. The top 15 bowlers will cash, based on 48 entries.

HIT DEM POCKETS
Charmaine Allen and Kyle Malinowski topped the doubles field (1,495 total pinfall), Dell Ray and Mike King led scratch doubles (1,525) and Allen and King topped mixed doubles (1,531) during the Hit Dem Pockets Holiday Cash Tournament recently at Roseland Lanes in Oakwood.
The event drew 115 doubles teams overall, with separate singles prize funds also available.

TODD EYER MEMORIAL: Vince Viglio defeated Adam Barta to captured the Todd Eyer Memorial scratch singles event at Champion Lanes in Warren, topping a 44-player field.
Also in the top five were Dean Billings, James Nolan and Tyler Meredith.

LEGACY SHOOTOUT: Shawn Fields captured the Turkey Shoot Sweeper at Legacy Lanes in Coshocton. Others in the top five were Adam Webb, Darren Hayes, Elias Ward and Nick Hammersley. OHIO STATE USBC: Tournament sites have been established for the 2025 Ohio State USBC Open, Women’s and Youth tournaments. The Ohio State USBC Open tournament will be weekends from Feb. 15 through May 4 in Summit County. The team event will be at AMF Riviera Lanes while the doubles and singles will be at Station 300 (formerly Stonehedge). The women’s championships will be weekends from March 22 through April 13 in Stark County, with the team event at Eastbury Bowling Center and singles and doubles at AMF Hall of Fame Lanes. OHIO MATCHPLAY TOURNAMENTS: The next OMT event is the fourth annual Christmas Shootout, set for 1 p.m. Dec. 21 at HP Lanes in Columbus. Entry fee is $110 for this 50-and-older scratch event. Bowlers will roll five qualifying games before the field is cut for single-game match-play rounds by seed. In addition, the third annual Wayne Webb’s Green Machine Trios is set for 10 a.m. Dec. 28 at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl. Teams must have one player age 50 or older.
