Norton High School senior left-hander Jacob Robison tied the school record for game and set a record for series during Thursday’s match against Coventry at Charger Lanes.
Robison started with 257 and followed with 300 for a 557 series in the match. It was the second 300 game in Panthers’ history.
Robison was a first-team All-Metro Athletic Conference selection a year ago.
Also, Marlington’s Cora Wines set the girls school record for series with 423 in a match against Massillon at AMF Hall of Fame Lanes in Canton. The previous mark was held by Alex Lemaster.
Wines had games of 201 and 222.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY ADDED
The Tom Warner Memorial Scholarship, named in honor of the former Louisville High School bowler, will return this year.
The $1,500 scholarship, which is available to any male or female high school senior Stark County bowler who plans to bowl or is bowling in college, will be awarded during the Stark County High School Bowling Conference’s annual banquet April 6 at Raintree Golf and Banquet Center in Uniontown. One scholarship will be awarded.
