Many high school bowling conference tournaments were conducted this weekend, in addition to a couple of independent events.

METRO ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
The Ravenna boys and Norton girls captured titles during the Metro Athletic Conference postseason tournament on Saturday.
In the boys division, Rylan Slusser was the boys high individual score with a 731 series, including shooting 289 in Game 3, to lead the division, with Norton’s Jacob Robinson second (666 and Field’s Joey Dilworth taking third (656).
Ravenna finished with 2,742 total pinfall, followed by field (2,728) and Coventry (2,469).
In the girls division, Norton took honors with 2,414, followed by Springfield (2,170) and Steetsboro (2,096).
Individually, Springfield’s Madison Knox led the field with 573, followed by Norton’s’ Madelyn Mullett (561) and Streetsboro’s Kendall Clark (554).

Boys: Coventry 12-2, Woodridge 11-3, Field 9-5, Ravenna 8-6, Norton 7-6, Cloverleaf 5-9, Steetsboro 4-10, Springfield 0-14

DOVER INVITATIONAL
The Dover boys and Carrolton girls captured titles during the Dover Invitational on Saturday at Wabash Lanes in New Philadelphia.
Dover defeated Carrollton 3-2 in the boys best-of-five Baker System finals while Carrollton’s girls swept by Dover 3-0 in the finals.
Dover’s Jacob Shanklin topped the individual boys scoring with a 704 series, followed by teammate Zane Smith with 675 and Carrollton’s Brock Oberlin with 636.
In the girls division, Carrollton’s Kaylee Russell was the high individual with 669, followed by Dover’s Kylie Pittman (577) and Canton Central Catholic’s Jessica Jenkins (573).

INTER-VALLEY CONFERENCE
The Indian Valley boys topped the nine-team field to win the Inter-Valley Conference tournament on Saturday at Conotton Valley’s Rocket Center.
Indian Valley finished the three regular games and six Baker games with 4,160 total pinfall, including shooting a 290 Baker game in Gane 6.
The Braves were followed by Claymont (3,921) and East Canton (3,556).
Cale Dinger led the Braves with a 769 series, including 278 in Game 2, with Colton Long adding 689. Riley Milburn topped Claymont with 652, while Braylon Jute and Dylan Lint each shot 614 for the Hornets.
In the girls division, Garaway took honors with 3,350, followed by Conotton Valley (3,135) and East Canton (3,041).
Lexi Erb led Garaway with a 556 series. Conotton Valley’s Lily Booth shot 597, while East Canton’s Madison Lint had 534.

SUBURBAN LEAGUE POSTSEASON
During the Suburban League postseason tournament Saturday at Spins Bowl-Akron, Cuyahoga Falls boys and Nordonia’s girls took honors.
In the girls division, the Knights finished with 3,475 total pinfall, followed by Wadsworth (3,289) and Tallmadge (3,154).
Nordonia’s Kaitlyn McNutt waa the top individual with a 663 series, followed by Tallmadge’s Alex Pavlik (602) and Wadsworth’s Aubrey Masada (570) and Cece Craig (566).
In the boys division, Cuyahoga Falls finished with 4,037, followed by Twinsburg (3,964) and Highland (3,834).
The Black Tigers’ Jonathan Rasch turned in the top overall series of the event with 750, including 290 in Game 3, with Twinsburg’s Lucas Tinter (719) and Highland”s Thomas Nook (701) also recording 700 series.
