COLUMBUS — The Junior Tournament Bowlers Associatioins (JTBA) will hold its 43rd Henson Bowling Academy Kick-Off Tournament at 9 a.m. Aug. 7 at HP Lanes.
Bowlers will roll five qualifying games, with the fields being cut to between four and 16 bowlers in each division for two-game single-elmination bracket matches to determine champions.
Entry fee is $75 for preregistered JTBA members and $85 for preregistered nonmembers. There will be an addtiional $10 charge for walkin entries, with the full field being 192 players.
This is a Junior Gold qualifying event.
Upcoming future events in Northeast Ohio include the JTBA Mystery Trio on Aug. 20 at Clutch Lanes and Sports Center in Cuyahoga Falls and the Spins Bowl Singles, set for Aug. 21 at Spins Bowl Akron.

HALL OF FAME SERIES CONTINUES
PERRY TWP. — The final regular event of the Hall of Fame Summer Series is at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at AMF Hall of Fame Lanes.
Bowlers will be competing on the 2022 U,.S. Open No 1 oil pattern. Bowlers roll four qualifying games before the cut is made to the top five for stepladder finals. Entry fee is $40, with high-game pots and eliminator available.
Bowlers must participate in at least three events to be eligible for the Aug. 11 end of season finale. The top 10 in the points list plus winners of past events are eligible to participate.
