H.S. bowling: IVC crowns first conference champions, announces all-league teams

BOWERSTON — The Indian Valley High School boys and Conotton Valley girls captured wins during the first Inter-Valley Conference Postseason tournament recently at the Rocket Center.

In the boys division, Indian Valley finished with 3,837 total pinfall to claim the top spot, followed by Conotton Valley (3,602) and Claymont (3,317) in the eight-team field.

With that victory, the Braves also claimed the first boys bowling title in conference history with 22 points, followed by Conotton Valley (17) and Claymont (14).

The Rockets girls claimed the first postseason tourney title with 3,513, followed by East Canton (3,144) and Garaway (3,065).

Conotton Valley also claimed the first league girls bowling title with 22 points, followed by East Canton (18) and Garaway (16).
